The Media Academy
Immersive Pre-Employment Bootcamps & Turnkey Technical Delivery
Welcome to The Media Academy, the premier provider of self-contained, high-engagement digital technical education and workplace readiness programmes across the North East.
Our Unique Advantage: Fully Managed, Assessor-Led Delivery
We operate strictly as a specialised B2B service partner, collaborating with Further Education (FE) colleges, Independent Training Providers (ITPs), local authorities, secondary schools, and resettlement teams [CFO]. Our mission is simple: to transform standard classroom spaces into active, live media production environments that re-engage learners, eliminate classroom attrition, and secure auditable qualifications.
At The Media Academy, we understand the heavy administrative, marking, and internal verification burdens placed on funding contract holders. That is why we do not just provide sessional tutors; we deliver a complete turnkey solution.
Our lead instructional delivery team is fully qualified. We independently manage the entire curriculum deployment, mobile studio hardware provisioning, candidate portfolio evidence tracking, and formal assessment folder sign-off. When we hand completed learner folders back to your quality assurance team, they are 100% compliant and ready for your Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) or external funding audits.

Flexible Delivery Frameworks
We offer multiple audit-safe scheduling pathways tailored completely to the operational requirements of our delivery partners, schools, and adult learners:
📜 The Fast-Track Award Pathways (5-Day Core Units)
Our high-retention short-course blocks pack a regulated Level 1/2 Employability Award concurrently with a face-to-face accredited Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification. These tracks can be deployed across three flexible options:
- Option 1: The Single-Week Intensive Block (5 Days Continuous): Level 1 candidates attend on-site from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday. Level 2 candidates arrive at 08:30 AM and remain until 18:00 to clear their extra technical focus hours. The entire cohort completes their First Aid qualification together on Friday from 09:30 to 16:00.
- Option 2: The Split-Block Compliance Model (Standard 9-to-5 Hours): Both tiers attend the studio floor together on a standard 09:00 to 17:00 timetable from Monday to Friday in Week 1. Level 1 candidates complete fully, while Level 2 candidates return for one single standalone compliance day in Week 2 (09:30 to 16:00) to complete their face-to-face First Aid qualification.
- Option 3: The 6-Week Day-Release Framework (1 Day Per Week): Designed to integrate seamlessly into weekly timetables without disrupting core subject blocks. Training is delivered exactly one day per week (09:00 to 17:00) across 6 consecutive weeks. Level 1 learners attend for the first 4 weeks, Level 2 candidates attend an advanced fifth week, and the entire cohort reunites in Week 6 for their final First Aid compliance block.
🏆 The Premium 15-Day Flagship Certificate (Extended Track)
- The Full Qualification Block: Designed specifically for Further Education Colleges and Independent Training Providers (ITPs) looking to maximize regional contract performance and funding returns per learner. This extended 3-week framework expands our core media modules into an intensive, multi-unit portfolio block, resulting in a Full Level 1/2 Certificate in Employability. This premium track integrates advanced team communication challenges, specialized recording studio engineering projects, and full-length broadcast production logs.
🛡️ Our Assessment & Quality Framework
Because our lead instructional team consists entirely of fully A1-qualified Portfolio Assessors, we manage 100% of the daily workbook compilation, mobile studio hardware setups, and formal portfolio grading sign-offs on the ground. We handle the administrative heavy lifting by compiling the complete evidence blocks on-site, leaving your Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) teams with standard desk-based sampling oversight before final centre sign-off. This completely eliminates the marking and administrative strain from your teaching staff while maintaining flawless regulatory compliance.
To deliver maximum value to local employers and satisfy strict contract deliverables, all of our bootcamps provide a dual-outcome qualification structure:
🏢 The Ultimate Campus Turnkey: Simultaneous Multi-Track Delivery
Designed for major training hubs, multi-academy trusts, and large funding cohorts.
Do you have large numbers of learners requiring immediate, high-engagement upskilling? We can deploy multiple technical production tracks simultaneously at your venue. Our academy can configure and run our TV & Video Production Studio in one classroom while concurrently running our Theatre & Performance Academy or Radio Broadcast Hub in another.
Guaranteed Real-World Progressions
We are deeply committed to leaving a lasting legacy. We do not walk away when the training week finishes. Every single graduate of The Media Academy is awarded a guaranteed 1-hour live guest broadcast or video podcast slot on our digital network, alongside a structured vetting pathway to win a permanent, regular show slot.
This live work-placement framework provides our partner compliance teams with the robust, auditable long-term positive progression data required for regional contract tracking and inspections.
🏛️ T Level Industry Placement Partnerships
Direct Support for 16-19 Technical Education Providers
Finding compliant, high-quality, long-term industry placements for full-time learners can be a major operational roadblock for regional colleges. The Media Academy acts as an official, vetted Industry Placement Host for T Level Media, Broadcast and Production cohorts.
